The Myrysji holiday facility is situated near the only Mauritius tree between all the coconut trees in the village 'Christiaankondre'. In 1992 Wijnberg Tokoe and his sister Josien Tokoe started leasing facilities at Christiaankondre. In 1997 an agreement was made between Wijnberg Tokoe and Rudie Baldew, to give birth to Myrysji tours. With his 9 air-conditioned coasters, Rudie Baldew was already well known for his transport to villages and resorts in the interior
With her local and city guides Myrysji is the organization to talk to, for tours to the area of Galibi. This was confirmed when they won the international Golden Award for tourism in 2003.
